I coincidentally saw those drawings on some others' blog. Very cool.
The drawer is Julian Beever (his website), who is a freelance chalk artist and has drawn on pavement for over ten years all over the world. That's how Wikipedia introduces his work :His works are created using a projection called anamorphosis, and create the illusion of three dimensions when viewed from the correct angle.
